StatSquad ("we", "us", "our") is a sports team management platform available at statsquadapp.uk. We provide tools for coaches, parents, and players to manage squads, track statistics, and coordinate fixtures.

2. What Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

• Account data: Email address, name, and password (hashed) when you register.
• Player data: Player names, jersey numbers, positions, dates of birth, and photos uploaded by coaches.
• Parent/guardian data: Email addresses linked to player profiles for availability notifications.
• Match & performance data: Fixtures, scores, player statistics, and availability responses.
• Media: Photos and videos uploaded to the team gallery.
• Billing data: Subscription plan and payment status (processed securely via Base44 Payments — we do not store card details).
• Usage data: Log data including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited, collected automatically.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your personal data to:

• Provide and operate the StatSquad service.
• Send match availability notifications and fixture reminders to parents and players.
• Process subscription payments and manage billing.
• Allow coaches to manage their squad and track performance statistics.
• Improve and maintain the platform (analytics and error monitoring).
• Respond to support requests.

4. Legal Basis for Processing (UK GDPR)

We process your data under the following legal bases:

• Contract: Processing necessary to deliver the service you have subscribed to.
• Legitimate interests: Analytics, security monitoring, and improving the platform.
• Consent: Where you have actively provided information (e.g. uploading media or submitting availability).

5. Children's Data

StatSquad is used to manage youth sports teams. Player profiles may include data relating to children under 18. This data is entered and managed solely by the team's registered coach (an adult). We do not knowingly allow children to create accounts directly. If you believe a child's data has been submitted without parental consent, please contact us immediately.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Base44 (platform provider): Our underlying infrastructure and hosting provider.
• Base44 Payments (Wix Payments): To process subscription payments securely.
• Email service providers: For sending notifications and transactional emails.

All third-party processors are contractually bound to handle your data securely and in accordance with applicable data protection law.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription and delete your team, all associated data (players, matches, media, statistics) is permanently deleted from our systems. Account-level data may be retained for up to 30 days after deletion for backup and fraud-prevention purposes, after which it is purged.

8. Your Rights (UK GDPR)

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Erase your data ("right to be forgotten").
• Restrict processing in certain circumstances.
• Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

• Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

We use essential cookies and local storage to maintain your login session and app preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Analytics may use anonymised identifiers to measure usage patterns.

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of StatSquad after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
